CD PRIME™ for CTC analysis performs easy and automated protocol of CTC enrichment. This fully automated system enriches CTCs from untreated blood samples based on physical characteristics (Cell size and elasticity). In the CD-PRIME™ system, the whole blood sample is injected into the inlet of the loading chamber, and target CTCs are trapped on a membrane while the microfluidic disc rotates.
Liquid biopsy is a non-invasive examination method without involving the conventional invasive technique to observe cancer occurrence and metastasis by analyzing circulating cancer cells and cancer DNA in the blood.
It is possible to obtain a companion diagnosis and early cancer diagnosis using a blood sample without an invasive tissue biopsy.

It is common to find a few to thousands of CTCs in a single mL of blood sample of a cancer patient. However compared to billions of red blood cells, CTCs are very rare in blood samples. Enrichment of CTSs can be achieved effectively by the help of advanced microfluidics technology.

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) is a technology for determining the sequence of DNA or RNA to study genetic variation associated with diseases or other biological phenomena in entire genomes or targeted regions.

LAMP – Loop-mediated isothermal amplification
LAMP was developed by Notomi et al. (2000) as a simple and rapid gene amplification technique. LAMP provides high specificity and selectivity by using 4 primers recognizing 6 distinct regions on the target sequences. The process can be completed quickly due to the high amplification efficiency under isothermal conditions without the need of expensive thermal cycle PCR machines. Amplification can be visualized in the tubes due to the presence of fluorescent dyes.
