Ctrl-X miRNA Detection Kit
miRNAs are small noncoding RNAs of about 18 – 22 nucleotides that control important physiological processes in our cells. miRNA detection using standard qRT-PCR protocols is challenging due to their short length. The Ctrl-X miRNA Detection Kit has been developed for the detection of specific miRNAs with high accuracy. First, use the Ctrl-X miRNA cDNA Synthesis Kit to convert the miRNA to cDNA through simultaneous polyadenylation and reverse transcription.
Then, through the miRNA detection kit, the target of interest may be amplified and detected using the PROMER (primer/probe) technology. This product is sensitive enough to detect even small amounts of miRNA and can discriminate between various isoforms that differ by only one nucleotide.
