About CD-PRIME™
CD-PRIME™ Platform offers automated protocols for the enrichment of CTCs (Circulating Tumor Cells), cfDNA (cell-free DNA), and EV (exosome) derived from cancer tissues.
The circulating tumor cells found in blood samples of patients can be utilized for the diagnosis and prognosis of cancer by highly precise genetic analysis and cell quantification. Our advanced microfluidics technology allows various scenarios of liquid biopsy or simultaneous analyses of analytes.

Isolations
According to the method of blood separation and isolation of targeted particles, different cartridges are provided.
Utility
- To the maximum, four cartridges can be used as blood chamber
- Up to 10ml whole blood can be inserted per one cartridge
- Buffy coat separated from CD-LBx™ 1 can be compatible use with CD-FAST™ Auto for CTCs enrichment
- Simultaneous prep of plasma (for cfDNA), buffy coat (for germline DNA), and CTCs
- The end-user is able to do the downstream work such as NGS and PCR analysis according to target
- Fully automatic separation by CD-OPR-2000™ device
Workflow
Utility

- Inject Ficoll-Paque and whole blood into CD-LBx™ 2 to separate PBMCs and plasma
- Simultaneous prep of plasma (for cfDNA), PBMCs

- Fully automatic separation by CD-OPR-2000™ device

Core technology
In the CD-PRIME™ system, the whole blood sample is injected into the inlet of the loading chamber, and target CTCs are trapped on a membrane while the microfluidic disc rotates.
